Snowy Delight & Non-Traditional Colors

Not sure about you but when I think traditional Winter colors I think blues and silvers.  So when I completed this Teach it Tuesday color combination challenge I was excited to go in the non-traditional direction.  The colors in this challenge were Lost Lagoon, Pretty in Pink and Gray Granite. My card is a winter themed card using the Snowy Delights Bundle and a fun technique to create rustic edges on my layers.

Card Measurements:

  • Card base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
  • Layer #1: 5 1/4" x 4"
  • Layer #2: 5" x 3 3/4"
  • Layer #3: 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"
  • Layer #4: 4" x 2 1/2" (for sentiment)
  • Interior: Pattern Paper 4" x 5 1/4" & White 3 3/4" x 5"

For a tip on creating the rustic look with the layers on this card and other tips check out my video.
