Splendid Autumn Puzzle Slider

Tammy and I wanted to share with you some fabulous cards that we categorize as "fun folds" because they are not your standard opening card.  They give the receiver a fun surprise when they open your handmade card.   So join me as I share with you the Puzzle Slider card, inspired from a fellow demonstrator Patti Dolan.

I will be using the beautiful Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper to make this puzzle card.  As you can see I am sharing three cards with you. The Fresh Freesia is the card I made on the video. The other two were my trial runs.  This card is much easier than it looks or you might think.

Card Measurements:

  • Card base: 4 1/4" x 9 1/2" - Score long side at 1" & 2" on BOTH sides
  • Mats: (2)  2 1/8" x 2 1/4" & (2) 2 1/8" x 3 1/4" same color as card base
  • Pattern Paper*:  4" x 5 1/4" cut as follows (in listed order):
                      (2) 2" x 5 1/4" strips
Top strip: cut at 3 1/8"
Bottom strip: cut at 2 1/8"
  • Interior: White 4" x 5 1/4" & (2) 1/2" x 6" pattern paper

* To center the picture on the pattern paper cut 3/8" off each side.

For more tips in putting this card together as well as to see how I cut, scored, laid everything out check out my video.
